This is an on-site paid consultation where we allow 2 hours for clients and Andrea to get to know one another and determine if we're a good fit. We will discuss your design challenges and your wish list, while providing feedback and solutions. It is also an opportunity to walk you through how we work. The consultation is an essential first step, whether your project is a renovation or new build. After the meeting, we will prepare a proposal outlining the scope of work discussed and the fee for the next phase of the project.

Consultation fee: $650+ GST

Step 1: Design Kickoff

Once clients are signed on, we set up a deep dive meeting centered around the project details, initial inspiration images, and specific feedback from our onboarding questionnaire.

Step 2: Concept Development + Budget Review

A few weeks after the design kickoff, we meet to share the design direction with clients during an in-person meeting. Through client feedback, we then engage the builder to assemble a high level budget. The meeting ensures everyone is on the same page.

Step 3: Presentation

We present the complete design to clients during an in-person meeting. Every single element is included in a visual display of materials and samples. Key elevations and visuals are carefully curated to communicate the final design. One round of revisions is included after the presentation.

Step 4: Final Page Turn

The final design meeting between clients and ourselves to review all project details, where we walk through the finished construction drawings together. This is a comprehensive review to talk through project details before construction begins.

Step 6: Construction

During project milestones, andrea jae studio will visit the site to observe progress and maintain continuity in the design. Key milestones for essential site visits can be during framing, plumbing or electrical rough-in’s, tile installation, and finishing.

Step 7: Procurement

If the project includes loose goods such as furniture, decorative lighting, area rugs, accessories, artwork, and window treatments, we prepare a package and a separate contract for this scope. We procure all items on behalf of our clients.

Step 8: Installation

We coordinate the delivery and install of all items from procurement phase to the project site. We complete a walkthrough with the client to receive feedback and fulfill any minor changes requested.

Step 9: Project Closure

We close each project with a final deficiencies walk-through after construction is complete, ensuring all outstanding items are addressed. Final billing is then issued, and clients receive an off-boarding questionnaire to share feedback on their experience.
