Ethos
Good design tells a story and storytelling is what we do.

At andreajae studio, we help you cut the overwhelming noise of endless design options and guide you to make informed decisions based on design, budget, and timeline.

We'll walk you through our uniquely organized 3 phase process - project initiation, design, and implementation - enabling you to move forward with confidence and understand what to expect at each stage. By following this process, our clients can plan their finances in advance without any surprises along the way. This transparency promotes a sense of trust with both our clients and valued trades.

Meet Andrea Ewanchyna
Principal Designer
Andrea founded andreajae studio in 2020, during the peak of the COVID-19 pandemic. Driven by a desire for flexibility and creative freedom, Andrea made the switch from a commercial design background to take on more residential projects, where she could create lasting relationships with clients while designing memorable spaces. For Andrea, her passion for design flourished in childhood, where she could be found “redecorating” her room with furniture and distinct colour combinations. She is an artist at heart, drawing on her love of painting, pottery, and her BC West Coast roots to create a strong contextual story that forms the backbone of her interior design projects.

With the studio being boutique, Andrea is involved in every aspect of the design process: from client onboarding and concept development to architectural oversight, material sourcing, and site inspections. She’s hands-on and highly detail-oriented, often guiding projects from the first sketch to final install. Over the years, she has been granted the Tri-City News’ A-List Award for Best Interior Designer in Port Moody for three consecutive years. She was a finalist at the 2024 and 2025 Georgie Awards and took home the 2024 HAVAN Award for Best Kitchen Renovation.
