West Side Penthouse

This Kerrisdale penthouse was thoughtfully designed as a cozy winter retreat, reflecting the client’s Danish heritage and deep appreciation for Scandinavian design. The space emphasizes clean lines, warm materials, and functionality—key tenets of the Nordic aesthetic.

Upon entry, a multi-use foyer welcomes guests with a built-in sitting area and integrated closet, offering both comfort and utility. A restrained palette of neutral tones creates a serene backdrop for striking art pieces, including a prominent work by Ken Wallace.

Throughout the home, white oak flooring and flat-faced cabinetry reinforce the minimalist sensibility. A custom media unit cleverly conceals the television, while an integrated dining table anchors the open living area. All furniture pieces were carefully sourced from Inform Interiors, and the area rug—custom-designed to suit the space—adds tactile warmth and cohesion.

Custom furnishings and curated textiles complete the interiors, resulting in a harmonious balance of elegance and practicality.
