Our clients, an energetic family of five engaged us to design a bright and functional open-plan kitchen for their 'forever' home. We chose a warm palette with deep tones that compliments the surrounding mountain landscape. Storage was paramount so we included a pantry with low drawers, a pot lid drawer on the island, and a tech drawer for everyone's devices. The kitchen island includes a cookbook nook, a bar fridge, and extra countertop space for kids to pull up and do their schoolwork. Since entertaining is part of this family's lifestyle we also designed a bar with custom cabinet fronts inspired by the Fairmont Hotel in Whistler. The space considers the needs of the family today, tomorrow and into the future.
